Showstudio.

I don't know if you've heard about showstudio or not (you probably have if you're in Faaasshhhhaaannnn)...but in a nutshell, Nick Knight the famous fashion photographer has opened up a live studio in Somerset House where you can watch a live stream of his photoshoots/various designers making one-off pieces/talk to models on the phone/watch castings etc...basically being able to view the inner workings of the fashion world.

So anyway, Nick Knight is shooting 100 portraits for I.D Magazine and the very talented Fred Butler is going to be in it...wearing one of MY all in ones. Woo hoo!

Fred wanted a holographic spectrumised version of my All in One PVC 0.1...and this is what I managed to sew together. I think I was channeling Grace Jones at the time.

Long john Joy.

Hurrah. I've been trying to find some suitable fabric to make my long johns out of for quite a while now...almost gave up but found it in my local shop - right under my nose!

I've got some really beautiful leather scraps left over which I'm going to use as shoulder panels...going on a fur hunt tonight so I can line my hoods with it.

Winter's going to be proper cosy!

A onesie made for hangovers.

This week, I have mostly been making...

...all in ones with Grace Jones inspired hoods.

I made a sample last night but it was missing something...so I added some PVC leg panels (i'm seriously loving up the PVC at the moment) and I think it did the trick.

Will get them on my shop ASAP.

Sass and Bide

OK so I found out that Cheryl Cole's all in one that she wears in her new video is actually leggings and a leotard, both by Sass and Bide.

Still, has got me back into thinking about ideas for some new proper 'catsuit' (I hate that word) style all in ones.

I thought Kylie's onesie that she wore in '2 Hearts' was the best all in one I'd ever seen but Cheryl Cole has managed to seriously out-do her.

Sorry I haven't posted anything for a while...I've been organising/stressing over a shoot that me and Dan Wilton are doing on Friday for my new winter designs...

We're going to split the shoot up into about 4 different looks as some of the designs are really different to each other....

So on Friday, we're going to do some mid-air floating shots that will hopefully end up looking a bit like these:




Actually going to be working with real models this time (instead of forcing my camera shy friends to pose for me!) so it's all very exciting...lots of winter onesies to come soon!

Winter warmer.

Just as I was getting ready to go out and buy some fabric to start making my new LONGJOHN range...Fred Butler left me a comment leading me to this little toasty number.

American Apparel have been doing womens versions of these for a while now...but unfortunately if you have anything bigger than an A cup breast the buttons just pop open all the time...maybe this isn't so much a design fault as yet another cunning plan from Mr.Dov to turn everything he touches in to soft porn.

I've also read about a few Long John desires from one of the writers on Fashion156.com...

So this week I shall mostly be working on some alternative versions of the classic hick attire. Bum flaps and all.

Quite a few people are slating the outfit that Cheryl Cole wore on the X Factor last Saturday...true, the Military jacket and hat are a bit tacky but she is working a seriously nice high-legged leotard!

Her trousers are pretty cool too...not dissimilar to some of these creations I've spotted over the last few months...

Sample Sale.

I have 4 blue All in One samples for sale at the unbelievably cheap price of £15 (usually £35)!

Blue cotton jersey with silver vinyl writing, low crotch, one size fits all.

I also have one black/gold All in One with sleeves/hood for £15 (usually £45). It has a few small holes in the back hence the large reduction.

They're samples so the writing is slightly creased but they're still looking fresh.
